SENIOR PASTOR POSITION OPENING

Springdale Baptist Church of Memphis, Tennessee is accepting applications for the position of a full-time Senior Pastor for her urban congregation. The church has over 95 years of rich history in the north Memphis community. We are anxious to continue our spiritual growth by providing services to the community, investing in our children, providing faithful biblical teaching, and rendering genuine praise and worship to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We are prayerfully seeking a Senior Pastor who has demonstrated the capacity to meet the scriptural standards for pastoral leadership as recorded in the 3rd chapter of Timothy, the 4th chapter of Ephesians, and the chapter of Hebrews.

The following minimum qualifications must be evident:

Licensed/Ordained Baptist Minister

Five (5) years of progressive ministerial experience

Seminary experience

Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university

Effective written and oral communication skills

Technologically savvy

Has a Pastor's Heart and able to lead the entire congregation lovingly and compassionately from youth to seniors

Cover Letter

Current resume (include email address)

Doctrinal statement or belief

Copy of ministerial license and certificate of ordination

Verification of completion of undergraduate or graduate degrees from an accredited college/univ Verification of accredited seminary training and degrees

One (1) video recording of a recent sermon and one (1) recent biblical teaching via MP4/or link to church website or other streaming media
