PASTORAL VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Opening Date: April 5, 2024 Closing Date: May 20, 2024

The New Beth-Eden Missionary Baptist Church celebrated 86 years of Christian service and ministry in September 2023 in Fort Worth, Texas. We are prayerfully and meditatively seeking our 7 th pastor called by God to lead our church to higher heights in the name of Jesus as a full-time pastor. Our pastor will be equipped to effectively lead God’s people as well as preach and teach the Word of God.

Qualifications

Possess the biblical and spiritual qualities as prescribed in I Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9
Licensed and ordained within the Baptist denomination
Five to ten years of experience as a full time Pastor and/or Assistant Pastor
Must have a bachelor’s degree and additional Theological studies is a plus
Effective communicator in preaching, teaching, and writing the Word of God
Ability to grow the church spiritually and numerically
High level of competency in creating and delivering Bible studies and seminars
Extremely proficient at delivering God’s Word by preaching the Gospel using sermons that are prepared, scripture-based, relevant, and applicable to every-day living
Plan and conduct worship services that are a blend of traditional and contemporary approaches
Officiate at special services such as weddings, funerals, memorial services, baby dedications, etc.
Provide consistent and effective spiritual support and pastoral care of church members
Assess ministries using measurements to determine the effectiveness of progressing mission fulfillment; evaluate strategic goals and vision of the church
Demonstrates servant leadership abilities to coordinate and lead meetings to clarify and execute goals and objectives
Serve as ex-officio member of all ministries, departments, auxiliaries, and committees
